※What is a biopharmaceutical?
It is a proteinous drug or an antibody drug developed and manufactured by using biotechnology such as genetic modification, cell fusion and cell culture. It is effective against cancer, diabetes, hepatitis C, not only proteinous diseases such as renal failure but also rare serious diseases such as hemophilia.
Molding a vial
A glass tube used for a vial has high durability and its surface is flat and uniform. |
While molding a vial, glass melts and alkaline boric acid evaporates. The evaporated boric acid condenses and adheres to the inside surface of a vial in the state of bumps after condensation. |
When vial is processed, chemical durability of borosilicate glass dramatically declines. |
We cope with controlling evaperated substances of alkaline boric acid when molding. Therefore, our vial has the original chemical durability of borosilicate glass. |
